Packing my bags...

My stomach is in knots right now. On one hand, I'm very excited about travelling back to Nepal. On the other hand, I'm not thrilled (and that's putting it mildly) about sitting on three planes and traveling for 35 hours to get to my location. My tummy will settle down when my feet are back on solid ground, for a few weeks, anyway.

I'm using this post to actually test embedding a gallery photo from my last trip to Nepal. The first full day I was on the ground, both of my friends had to go to work. I was so excited that I asked them for a map and set off walking around Kathmandu for at least eight hours. Using a map there is actually quite the challenge, as most streets don't have names, not ones that I could read, anyway.

On that first day of exploring, I accidentally stumbled upon a dance competition among the area schools--WOW! The colors were amazing, the children were adorable. I fell head over heals in love with Nepal that afternoon. What an amazing experience. You can click the photo to see more pictures from that day.

More great photos will be shared here in these next few weeks. I hope you enjoy them! :)
